David McNair is a best-selling author, former executive, and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience helping leaders and organizations gain clarity and achieve disciplined execution. He is a Co-Founder and Principal Advisor of Blue Tide Strategic Partners, a firm built on enduring partnerships and results that last.

Blue Tide Strategic Partners was formed on the strong foundation of The McNair Group, LLC, which David founded and led for over three decades. Through that work, David earned a reputation for guiding leaders and organizations toward clarity, alignment, and measurable performance—strengthening culture while driving results across diverse industries.

Throughout his career, David has partnered with organizations in healthcare, hospitality and tourism, financial services, retail, construction, technology, religious organizations, manufacturing, utilities, government, nonprofits and more. His work consistently elevates internal employee engagement while strengthening external customer and stakeholder relationships.

David has personally led more than 1,000 leadership workshops, equipping leaders to intentionally cultivate relationships that align strategy, culture, and accountability. His approach blends practical insight with values-based leadership, helping organizations move from intention to sustained impact.

David co-authored two books on Exceptional Customer Service with forewords from two iconic leaders in the service industry—the President of Ritz-Carlton Hotels Worldwide and the CEO of Zappos.

David and his wife, Merrie, raised their four sons in the Charleston / Mount Pleasant area and are now enjoying their grandchildren.
