Melanie Stith is an attorney, former healthcare chief HR and operations executive, and executive coach with nearly 25 years of experience helping organizations align people, strategy and execution. She is a Co-Founder and Principal Advisor of Blue Tide Strategic Partners, where she works alongside leaders to build strong cultures, develop high-performing teams, and deliver results that endure.

Blue Tide Strategic Partners was formed on the strong foundation of Melanie’s work as the founder of Culture Wins, LLC, and her long-standing partnership with The McNair Group, LLC, a firm she first engaged as a client and later served as Principal Advisor.

As a certified executive coach and trusted strategic partner, Melanie works alongside leaders and boards to clarify strategy, strengthen culture, and translate vision into disciplined execution—particularly during periods of change, growth, or transition. Her work helps organizations build aligned leadership teams, effective governance, and people-centered systems that drive performance and long-term impact.

Melanie previously served as Chief People & Government Relations Officer and Chief Administrative Officer for a large nonprofit healthcare system in South Carolina, overseeing an organization with more than $1.4 billion in net patient revenue, 6,000+ teammates, and 100+ sites of care. During her tenure, she helped lead the organization to top-tier employee engagement and multiple workplace honors, including recognition as a Fortune Best Place to Work.

She holds a B.S. in Business Management from Clemson University, a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and is a graduate of the Riley Institute at Furman University.

Melanie is deeply engaged in community leadership, serving as Board Chair of Trident United Way, Board Chair of Clemson University’s Management Advisory Board, and as a Board Member of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys boating, traveling, spending time with her husband and three children, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
